Scope

This Standard stipulates the principle, operating procedures, result and evaluation, and
laboratory report of impact penetration test method for water resistance of textiles for
medical protective apparel.
This Standard is applicable to the evaluation of water resistance of textiles for medical
protective apparel with or without waterproof finishing.
This Standard is inapplicable to textiles for medical protective apparel that cannot
maintain a flat state under tension (hereinafter referred to as textiles).
