1 Scope
This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods,
inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate
and contract (or order form) content of lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide.
This Standard applies to lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide as the positive
active material for lithium ion batteries.
2 Normative references

4.4 Physical properties
4.4.1 Tap density
The tap density of the product is not less than 1.8 g/cm3.
4.4.2 Particle size distribution
The particle size distribution of the product requires a normal distribution. The
required range of characteristic values is as follows:
D10 shall be no less than 2.0 μm. D50 shall be in the range of 5.0 μm~15.0 μm.
D90 shall be no more than 30.0 μm.
4.4.3 Specific surface area
The specific surface area of the product is not more than 1.0 m2/g.
4.5 pH value
The pH value of the product is not more than 10.0~12.5.
4.6 Electrochemical performance
4.6.1 First discharge specific capacity
The first discharge specific capacity of the product under the specified
conditions shall not be less than 140 mA · h/g.
4.6.2 First charge-discharge efficiency
The first charge-discharge efficiency of the product under the specified
conditions shall not be less than 85%.
4.6.3 Plateau capacity ratio
The plateau capacity ratio after the 10th charge-discharge cycle of the product
under the specified conditions shall not be less than 60%. The plateau capacity
ratio after the 100th charge-discharge cycle shall not be less than 50%.
4.6.4 Cycle life
When the discharge capacity of the product under the specified conditions
reaches 80% of the first discharge capacity, the number of cycles shall not be
less than 500.
The pH value of the product is determined in accordance with the provisions of
GB/T 1717.
5.6 Electrochemical performance
5.6.1 First discharge specific capacity
The first discharge specific capacity of the product is determined with reference
to the regulations of GB/T 23365.
5.6.2 First charge-discharge efficiency
The first charge-discharge efficiency of the product is determined with reference
to the regulations of GB/T 23365.
5.6.3 Plateau capacity ratio
The plateau capacity ratio of the product is determined with reference to the
regulations of GB/T 23366.
5.6.4 Cycle life
The cycle life of the product is determined with reference to the regulations of
GB/T 23366.
6 Inspection rules
6.1 Inspection and acceptance
6.1.1 The product shall be inspected by the supplier. It shall be ensured that the
product quality meets the requirements of this Standard and the contract (or
order form). It shall fill in the product quality certificate.
6.1.2 The purchaser shall inspect the received products in accordance with the
provisions of this Standard and the contract (or order form). If the inspection
result does not conform to this Standard and the contract (or order form), it shall
be submitted to the supplier within 3 months from the date of receipt of the
product. The supplier and the purchaser shall negotiate and resolve it. If
arbitration is required, the arbitration sampling shall be made at the purchaser
place and jointly by both parties.
6.2 Lot grouping
Products shall, in lots, be submitted for acceptance. Each lot shall be composed
of the same mixture. The weight of each lot shall not be greater than 5 t.

f) Moisture-proof words or signs;
g) Number of this Standard.
7.2 Packaging
For products that have passed the inspection, 25 kg is a packaging unit. The
inner packaging is a composite aluminum-plastic bag. After being sealed by
thermoplastic, put it in a carton or paper drum. It can also be packed in
accordance with the packaging unit and method agreed by both parties.
7.3 Transportation and storage
Products, packaged in accordance with 7.2, can be transported in various ways.
But it shall avoid damaging the packaging and making the product damp. The
product shall be stored in a dry and non-corrosive environment. From the date
of production, the product has a shelf life of 2 years.
7.4 Quality certificate
Each lot of products shall be accompanied by a quality certificate, which shall
indicate:
a) Supplier's name, address, telephone, fax;
b) Product name;
c) Lot number;
d) Quantity;
e) Analysis inspection results and the seal of the supplier's quality inspection
department;
f) Number of this Standard;
g) Exit-factory date.
8 Contract (or order form) content
The contract (or order form) for ordering the products listed in this Standard
shall include the following:
