This Standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and order form (or contract) content of battery grade anhydrous lithium chloride. This Standard applies to anhydrous lithium chloride produced from various raw materials. The product is mainly used for one-step electrolysis to produce battery grade metallic lithium. It can also be used to manufacture welding materials, air conditioners, and as a catalyst for the synthesis of polymer materials.
