Scope

1.1 According to chemical composition, smelting process requirements and
uses, spodumene concentrate can be divided into three categories and a total
of nine grades. The calculation based dry ore grade shall meet the requirements
of the following Table.
Note. If the buyer requires otherwise, it can be negotiated by both parties.
1.2 The grain size of concentrate is specified as follows.
1.2.1 For the lump product of low-iron spodumene concentrate and spodumene
concentrate for ceramics, the grain size shall be not more than 100 mm.
1.2.2 For the powdered product of spodumene concentrate for ceramics and
chemical industry, those with a particle size of less than 0.074 mm is not less
than 60%. For the powdered product of low-iron spodumene concentrate, those
with a particle size of less than 0.074 mm is not less than 35%.
1.3 No foreign inclusions shall be mixed into the concentrate.
1.4 The moisture of lump concentrate is not more than 3%; the moisture of
powder concentrate is not more than 8%.
