3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions defined in QC/T 795.1-2007, QC/T 795.2-2007 as well as the followings apply.
3.1 cabin air filter
the device that is used to filter the air flowing through the interior of the cabin and to introduce impurities and harmful gases from the outside of the
automobile through the air conditioning system; it is also known as air filter for passenger room, automotive air conditioning filter, automotive air conditioning filter
3.2 particle filter
cabin air filter for separating and storing tangible particles in an air stream; it is also known as dust filter, pollen filter, single effect filter
3.3 combination filter
cabin air filter for separating, storing and adsorbing tangible particles, harmful gases and odors in air streams; it is also known as activated carbon filter, multi- effect filter
3.4 fogging
refer to a phenomenon in which a thin layer of coating of volatile substances on the windshield and other glass is condensed under certain conditions to reduce visibility
3.5 odor characteristics
volatile components with distinctly identifiable odors when materials or components are stored at specified temperature and climatic conditions
4 Requirements
4.1 General
The cabin air filter shall be manufactured in accordance with the product drawings and technical documents approved by the prescribed procedures. The technical conditions shall comply with the provisions of this Standard. If the customer has technical requirements, execute as required.
4.2 Requirements for prohibited substances and restricted substances
The prohibited substances and restricted substances involved in the materials used shall comply with the Global Automotive Declaration Substances List (GADSL) and be declared in IMDS or CAMDS.
4.3 Material flammability
