This Standard was proposed by and shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee of Auto Standardization.

1 Scope
This Standard specifies the technical requirements of special equipment for LNG vehicle. This Standard is applicable to mono-LNG vehicle of which the LNG nominal working pressure is not more than 1.6MPa.

3 Terms and definitions
Terms and definitions in GB/T17895 AND the following terms and definitions are applicable to this Standard.
3.1
Liquefied natural gas
It is a kind of colorless fluid in the liquid state and mainly composed of methane. Its composition may contain small amounts of ethane, propane, nitrogen or other elements that are usually existed in natural gas. The quality complies with the requirements of GB/T 19204. Abbreviation is LNG.
One of pressure protection and control devices for the gas tank, used for emergency drainage when the prime relief valve is in the failure state.
3.2.7
Pressure gauge
It is an instrument that is mounted on the fuel operation panel or the gas tank, to indicate the pressure in the gas tank.
3.2.8
Liquid level sensor
It is a device that is mounted in the gas tank to measure liquid level height of LNG and to send liquid level signals.
3.2.9
Liquid level indicator
It is a device that is mounted on the operation panel of the driving cab and to indicate liquid level height of LNG in the gas tank.
3.3
Special equipment
It includes all the lines and parts for liquid fuel supply, including gas tank. 3.4
Maximum allowable working pressure
Under the design temperature condition, the maximum working pressure that is allowed by the system. Its abbreviation is MAWP.
3.5
Vaporizer
It is a heat exchanger that heat and convert the LNG into gas state, so as to reach air inlet temperature required by the engine.
4 LNG vehicle special equipment
4.1 LNG vehicle special equipment composition
4.1.1 LNG gas tank assembly. LNG gas tank and accessories such as liquid level display device and pressure gauge that are mounted on the gas tank.
4.1.2 Vaporizer. water-bath vaporizer, circulating water line and accessories. 4.3.4 Connector of dissimilar metals shall be avoided in the system. If it has to use dissimilar materials for connection, then necessary anti-corrosion measurement shall be adopted to avoid electrochemical corrosion resulting from combination of dissimilar metals.
4.4 LNG gas tank
4.4.1 The gas tank must comply with the requirements of GB 18442 Cryo-insulation pressure vessels.
4.4.2 LNG vehicle gas tank can adopt high vacuum multi-layer heat insulation type. Its heat-insulating property shall make pressure of gas tank not exceed maximum allowable working pressure, in the case of maximum filling weight of gas tank and under environment temperature of 21??C.
4.4.3 Gas tank is allowed to continue the usage after it is vacuumed again, within its effective usage life. However, before it is re-installed, quality test and evaluation must be carried out according to Liquefied gas bottle management specifications, so as to ensure that whether it can be re-used.
4.4.4 Permanent nameplate shall be set on gas tank.
a) The basic parameter nameplate for gas tank shall at least include the following information. gas tank volume (L), maximum allowable working pressure (MPa), manufacturing serial number, manufacturing date and manufacturer.
b) Identification mark of LNG filling connector shall indicate the maximum allowable working pressure of gas tank. If necessary, component restriction of LNG shall also be indicated.
c) There must be indicative marks for LNG inlet and outlet lines of gas tank, indicating the functions of the lines and flow directions of liquid. Pay attention to that the marks shall not be blurred because of frosting.
4.4.5 Gas tank accessories
4.4.5.1 Gas tank accessories shall be in complete and reliable, including filling line stop valve, drain line stop valve, drain line flow regulation valve, saving regulating valve, prime relief valve, auxiliary relief valve, pressure gauge, liquid level sensor, and liquid level indicator.
4.4.5.2 The working pressure rating for all the accessories of gas tank shall not be lower than its maximum allowable working pressure.
4.4.5.3 All sealing elements shall be effective within the inspection period of gas tank. 4.4.5.4 The relief valve operation pressure shall be accurate and reliable; it must be the qualified products manufactured by professional supplier, with complete quality inspection certificate.
