Foreword
This document was drafted in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents".
This document replaces QC/T 599-2013 "Overhead projection weld bolts". Compared with QC/T 599-2013, the main technical changes are as follows:
- MODIFY the dimensions α, k, r, r1 values of type A overhead projection weld bolts (see Table 1);
- MODIFY the dimensionsα and r of type B overhead projection weld bolts (see Table 2)
- ADD the nominal values of size d1, d3, k, h of type A overhead projection weld bolts and of d1, e, f, h of type B overhead projection weld bolts (see Table 1 and Table 2);
- ADD the fine thread specifications (see Table 1 and Table 2)
- MODIFY the requirements on thread tolerances (see Table 3);
- CANCEL the special requirements on mechanical properties, changing it into the provisions in GB/T 3098.1-2010 (see Table 3).

1 Scope
This document specifies the types, dimensions, and technical conditions of overhead projection weld bolts.
This document is applicable to the type A overhead projection weld bolts and type B overhead projection weld bolts for automobiles, which have a thread specification of M4 ~ M12/M12 x 1.25.
