This document specifies the term, definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules for liquid crystal instruments for automobiles. This document is applicable to TFT liquid crystal instruments (including speedometer, odometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, thermometer, oil pressure gauge, voltmeter, ammeter, SOC meter, cruising mileage meter, urea level meter, barometer), which are used for Category M and N automobiles. Other display instruments may make reference to this standard.
