Particular requirements for transportation of room
air-conditioner employed the flammable refrigerants
1 Scope
This standard specifies the safety requirements related to the land
transportation of room air-conditioner employed the flammable refrigerants
(hereinafter shortly referred to as air conditioner) after exit-factory.
This standard applies to the room air-conditioner products as defined in GB/T
7725.
The mobile air-conditioners as defined in GB/T 22257 AND the dehumidifier as
defined in GB/T 19411 may make reference to this standard.
2 Normative references

Storehouse
The warehouse to store the air-conditioner products as sent from the
manufacturing base AND to sell the products to all distribution units at
different regions.
4 Packaging requirements
4.1 Basic requirements
4.1.1 The package shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 22939.7.
4.1.2 The transport package of air-conditioner shall have a clear fire and other
fire warning signs, AND the size and color of such signs shall comply with the
requirements of GB/T 4706.32 AND clearly visible.
4.2 Packaging materials
4.2.1 The air-conditioners and their components which had been filled with
inflammable refrigerants shall use the packaging film made of anti-static
material.
4.2.2 The inside of product packaging shall have corresponding protective
materials to make it capable of withstanding the impact and vibration during
transportation, AND protecting the air-conditioner from being damaged. The
protective material includes materials for supporting, reinforcing, cushioning
and the like.
5 Vehicles and equipment
5.1 Vehicles and equipment requirements
5.1.1 Transport vehicles may use general cargo trucks, AND the technical
conditions of the vehicle shall comply with the class I vehicle conditions as
specified in JT/T 198.
5.1.2 The vehicle carriage floor shall be intact, the surrounding fence shall be
solid, AND it shall have anti-static grounding drag-line.
6.1.5 Check whether the cargo is stacked neatly, and the height shall not
exceed the stacking height as specified on the package.
6.1.6 During van truck transportation or container transportation, if there is gap
more than 10 cm between the air-conditioner and the side wall of the container
or van truck carriage, it shall be filled by non-inflammable materials.
6.2 Transportation process requirements
6.2.1 During transport, it shall control the vehicle speed, keep safe distance,
avoid illegal overtaking, AND avoid emergency braking as far as possible.
6.2.2 It shall not be close to open fire during transportation.
6.2.3 When the vehicle transporting air-conditioners is parked, it is preferable
to select the open type or semi-open type parking lot.
6.2.4 It is prohibited for the vehicle to take irrelevant personnel, AND it is
prohibited for smoking or fire in the vehicle OR within 3 m around the vehicle.
6.2.5 When the vehicle transporting air-conditioners fails and needs repair, it
shall be use open fire operation, AND it shall not enter the repair factory under
loaded conditions.
6.2.6 If cargo loss occurs due to cargo package damage in the transportation
process, it must keep away from the vehicle for 3 m before reporting to the
shipper immediately.
7 Safety requirements for loading and unloading
7.1 Basic requirements
7.1.1 The cargos shall be immediately unloaded after reaching to the
unloading point, AND it shall be under the custody by special person during
cargo unloading.
7.1.2 During loading and unloading, it is prohibited for blocking the fire engine
access. The driver shall ensure the unblocked communication AND not move
away from the vehicle.
7.1.3 The handled and stacked products shall comply with the requirements of
6.1.5 and 6.1.6.
7.1.4 It is prohibited to repair vehicles within the loading and unloading
operation region.
7.2.9 The loading and unloading of van truck shall comply with the container
loading and unloading requirements.
8 Storehouse
8.1 The storehouse shall comply with the fire protection design requirements of
GB 50016.
8.2 The fire extinguisher configuration of the storehouse shall comply with the
relevant provisions of GB 50140.
8.3 The lightning protection facilities of the storehouse shall comply with the
relevant provisions of GB 50057.
8.4 The storehouse shall be installed at a place free from heating source, AND
it shall not be located at basement or other places in poor ventilation, AND the
storehouse yard shall be free from trenches or pits, AND the power cab...

1 Scope
