This chapter of QB/T 4096-2010 is replaced by the following contents.
This Part specifies the terms and definition, product classification, requirements,
testing methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation,
storage of fan heaters for household and similar purposes (hereinafter “heaters”).
This part is applicable to heaters – for single-phase appliance, the rated-voltage is
not more than 250V; for other appliances, the rated-voltage is not more than 480V;
the heaters are used in household or similar venues. The heaters can be portable,
fixed, standing etc.
This part is not applicable to.
- Heaters installed in the structure of a building;
- Central heating system;
- Heaters connecting air ducts;
- Wallpaper, blanket, curtain or tube with flexible electric heating components;
- Household room heaters of thermal storage type;
- Bathroom electric heater (bathroom heat lamp fixture).
