Scope

This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test
methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation and storage of household and
similar electrical dishwasher (abbreviated as “dishwasher”).
This Standard is applicable to household and similar electrical dishwashers of which the
rated voltage is not exceeding 250V under single-phase.
This Standard is not applicable to dishwashers designed for commercial purposes.
