Wire rod size, shape, weight and tolerance
1 Scope
This standard specifies the wire rod size, shape, weight and allowable deviation.
This standard applies to all kinds of steel wire rods with a diameter of 5 mm to 28 mm produced by Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.

3 Classification and code

4 Size, shape and allowable deviation
4.1 The nominal diameter and cross-sectional area of the wire rod shall meet the requirements in Table 1.
4.2 The allowable deviation and out-of-roundness of the wire rod diameter shall comply with the corresponding accuracy levels in Table 1. Out-of-roundness refers to the maximum

5 weight
5.1 Wire rods are delivered with actual weight. Refer to Table 1 for the theoretical weight of the wire rod.
5.2 Each plate consists of a whole rod.
5.3 The weight of a single disk should meet the requirements of the corresponding group below. The reorganization type (I, II, or III) should be specified in the contract. If not,

-Group I. The pan weight should generally be 1900 kg to 2400 kg. Allow 10% of the number of each delivery batch (two for less than two)

7 Inspection site
7.1 The minimum distance between the sampling location of the inspection and the end of the coil shall meet the requirements in Table 3.
7.2 If there is a dispute over the size, shape and allowable deviation of the wire rod, it shall be measured 4 meters from the end of the wire rod.
8 Numerical rounding rules
Numerical rounding rules shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 8170.
