1 Scope
This Standard specifies the dimension, shape, weight and tolerance for hot- rolled steel plate and strip.
This Standard is applicable to hot-rolled steel strip, steel plate cross-cut from steel strip as well as straight-cut steel strip that are produced by Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as steel plate and strip).

4 Dimension
4.1 The scope of nominal dimensions of steel plate and strip is listed in Table 1. 4.2 Recommended nominal dimensions for steel plate and strip
4.2.1 Usually, the nominal width of straight-cut steel strip is any dimension that is 20 mm times the one listed in Table 1.
4.2.2 Usually, the nominal width of steel plate and strip is any dimension that is 10 mm times the one listed in Table 1.
4.2.3 Usually, the nominal length of steel plate is any dimension that is 100 mm times the one listed in Table 1.
4.2.4 Usually, the nominal thickness of steel plate and strip is any dimension that is 0.1 mm times the one listed in Table 1.
4.2.5 According to buyer?€?s requirements, after negotiation by seller and buyer, steel plate and strip of other dimensions other than recommended nominal ones can be provided.

6 Shape
6.1 Unevenness
6.1.1 The unevenness tolerance of steel plate shall comply with provisions of Table 7.
6.1.2 If user has requirements for unevenness of steel strip, it shall be clearly indicated in the contract, under the premise of ensuring the quality of user?€?s unwinding device and after negotiation by both parties.

a If user has stricter requirements for unevenness, it shall be clearly indicated in the contract after negotiation by both parties.
6.2 Camber and off squareness (oblique cutting)
6.2.1 For steel strip of uncut head-tail and uncut edge, when checking camber, the total length L, that does not take length of both ends into assessment, is calculated according to.
L (m) = 90 / nominal thickness (mm)
However, the maximum total length between both ends shall not exceed 20 m. 6.2.2 The camber and the oblique cutting of steel plate shall ensure the rectangle of steel plate?€?s ordered dimension.
6.2.3 The camber tolerance of steel plate and strip shall comply with provisions of Table 8 and Table 9.
6.2.4 The off squareness (oblique cutting) of steel plate shall not exceed 1% of steel plate?€?s actual width.
6.3 The steel strip and straight-cut steel strip shall be firmly tied. Tower The width shall be measured in the place where it is perpendicular to the center line of the steel plate or strip.
7.3 Unevenness of steel plate
Place the steel plate freely on flat surface; it shall not apply any other pressure except the weight of the steel plate; measure the maximum distance between the lower surface of the steel plate and the flat surface, shown as Figure 1. 7.4 Camber
The maximum distance, BETWEEN the concave side of the steel plate or strip AND a straight line that connects the two end points of measurement portion, is shown in Figure 2. For the steel plate of which the length is less than 5000 mm, the measured length shall be the actual length. For the steel plate of which the length ???5000 mm, the measured length shall be 5000 mm.
7.5 Off squareness (oblique cutting) u
It is the vertical projection of transverse edges of steel plate onto the longitudinal edges (shown in Figure 3), or 1/2 of steel plate's diagonal difference. 8 Weight
8.1 Steel plate is delivered according to its theoretical weight or actual weight. Steel strip is delivered according to its actual weight.
8.2 When steel plate is delivered according to theoretical weight, the thickness adopted by theoretical weighing shall be the average of the allowed maximum thickness and minimum thickness. The width and length shall adopt nominal dimension value. Unless otherwise specified in the product standard, the density shall adopt 7.85 g/cm3. The calculation of theoretical weighing is shown in Annex A (normative).
8.3 The weight of product in different category shall comply with provisions of Table 12.

This Standard is not equivalent to GB/T 709-2006, DIN EN 10051
(1991/A1).1997 or ISO 10160.2005 (E).
This Standard replaces Q/BQB301-2003 and BZJ301-2007.
Compared with Q/BQB 301-2003, the main changes of this Standard are.
- Tighten most of the thickness tolerances; add classification of 345 MPa yield strength according to provisions;
- Tighten width tolerances of edge cut steel plate and strip of which the width are 1500 mm and less;
- Appropriately adjust the width tolerance of straight-cut steel strip; - Add unevenness classification of minimum yield strength according to
provisions;
- Add camber and oblique cutting to ensure that the rectangle of steel plate comply with the ordered dimension;
- Tighten the provisions on camber of steel plate of which the length is less than 5000 mm;
- Add the measuring method of width;
- Modify the thickness calculation of steel plate's theoretical weighing; - Add the provisions of maximum weight for products in different categories. The appendix of this Standard is normative.
