This Standard specifies the technical conditions for the delivery of heat- resistant casings of Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd..
This Standard is applicable to the seamless casing (hereinafter known as casing for short) in heavy oil recovery of petroleum and natural gas industries and in other high temperature environments.
The casing steel grades in this Standard are. BG80H, BG90H, BG100H,
BG110H, BG110H-3Cr, BG130H-3Cr.
The casing specified in this Standard contains three product specification levels (PSL1, PSL2, PSL3).
2 Normative references
The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For the dated references, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable to this document. For the undated references, the latest version (including all the amendments) are applicable to this document.
API SPEC 5CT.2011 Specification for casing and tubing
Unless otherwise specified in this Standard, this Standard uses the
corresponding provisions of API SPEC 5CT.2011 standard steel grade given in Table 1. The PSL1 requirement of corresponding API SPEC 5CT.2011 steel
grade in Table 1 is generally adopted for supplying. When the contract indicates that the product specification level is PSL2 or PSL3, the PSL2 or PSL3 of corresponding API SPEC 5CT.2011 steel grade in Table 1 can also be adopted for supplying; but at this time, the supplier and the purchaser shall negotiate and specify the specific requirements of the selected PSL2 or PSL3 in the contract.
According to the requirements of the purchaser, through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser, the hardenability, grain size, or other items can be inspected. The specific requirements are stipulated by agreement between both parties.

are available. Through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser, and indicated in the contract, other specifications may also be supplied.
8.2 Pipe ends
Unless otherwise specified in the contract, the casing shall be threaded as specified in API SPEC 5CT.2011. According to the requirements of the
purchaser, through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser, and indicated in the contract, other special threads may also be used. The specific requirements shall be determined by agreement between the supplier and the purchaser.
According to the requirements of the purchaser, through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser, and indicated in the contract, coupling threads and sealing surfaces (e.g. special threads) can be surface treated with high temperature manganese phosphating, copper plating, or hot galvanizing.
The designation and specification, length, straightness, dimension and weight, tolerances, diameter requirements, defects, etc. shall comply with the
provisions of corresponding steel grades (SEE Table 1) of API SPEC 5CT.2011. 9 Coupling
The product analysis, tensile test, impact test, and other items of the coupling shall be carried out on the coupling stock and shall comply with the
requirements of Clause 7 and Clause 10.
The steel grade of pipe body and matching coupling shall comply with the requirements of Table 5.
11.2 Color code
Unless otherwise specified in the contract, each steel pipe shall, at the position specified in the API SPEC 5CT.2011, be marked with a steel grade color code. The color and quantity shall comply with the requirements of Table 8.
12 Coating and protection
The coating and protection of the product shall comply with the requirements of Clause 12 of API SPEC 5CT.2011.

According to different product types, it is packed with steel strip or plastic steel bracket. The weight of each bundle shall be no more than 5 tons.
Documentation shall be in accordance with clauses 13.1, 13.2, and 13.4 of API SPEC 5CT.2011.
Appendix A (normative) specifies the high temperature plastic elongation strength.
