This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of cellulase. This standard is applicable to the acidic (or neutral) cellulase which is prepared by refining and purifying microorganisms and their mutants represented by Trichoderma which has been subjected to liquid-submerged fermentation or solid culture. It is mainly used in food, textile, paper and other industries. Food grade cellulase can also be used as feed additives.
