This document specifies the technical requirements and test methods of shaft voltage and shaft current for wind turbine generators. This document mainly addresses the electrical corrosion failure mode of bearings, and is applicable to the requirements related to shaft voltage and shaft current of generator shafts of medium-speed permanent magnet (1 380 V and below) and doubly-fed (1 140 V and below) wind turbines. Other types of wind turbines shall be implemented with reference to similar topology structures.
