Foreword
This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard replaces NB/SH/T 0416-2014 "Heavy liquid paraffin".
Compared with NB/SH/T 0416-2014, the major changes of this Standard are
as follows:
-- Expand the scope of application;
-- Add product classifications;
-- Add the determination method of normal paraffin hydrocarbons content,
aromatic hydrocarbons and bromine index (see Chapter 2 and Table 1);
-- Modify the quality indexes of initial boiling point, bromine index and flash
point (see Table 1);
-- Delete the normative Appendix A.
This Standard was put forward by China Petrochemical Corporation.
This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of Subcommittee 3 on Wax of
National Technical Committee 280 on Petroleum Products and Lubricants of
Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 280/SC 3).

1 Scope
This Standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements and
test methods, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and sampling of
heavy liquid paraffin.
This Standard applies to the heavy liquid paraffin, which is prepared by urea
dewaxing process or molecular sieve dewaxing process, with kerosene or
diesel fraction in petroleum as raw materials.
The products under this Standard are used as raw materials for the production
of chlorinated paraffins, plastic plasticizers, synthetic detergents and other
products.
