1 Scope
This Standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for the flame resistance of commercial bus interior materials.
This Standard is applicable to the evaluation on the flame resistance of the commercial bus interior materials.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purpose of this document, the following terms and definitions apply. 3.1 Commercial bus
The bus used for commercially transporting the passenger.
NOTE. rewrite JT/T 325-2013, definition 3.1.
3.2 Oxygen index
The minimum oxygen concentration, under the specified test conditions, that can exactly right maintain the material combustion, when the oxygen and nitrogen mixed gas is injected at 23??C??2??C; expressed by the volume fraction.
NOTE. rewrite GB/T 2406.2-2009, definition 3.1.
3.3 Smoke density
The magnitude of the amount of smoke emitted by a material under specified test conditions; expressed by amount of light intensity attenuation for through-smoke. 3.4 Smoke toxicity
The degree of damage or injury caused by toxic and hazardous substances in the sample.
3.5 Commercial bus interior materials
The single material or composite material used by the interior of the commercial bus. NOTE. The commercial bus interior materials include interior panels, flooring materials, elastic cushion materials, textile materials, leather materials, plastic materials for seats, insulation materials, heat insulation materials, noise reduction materials, vibration damping materials, joining materials, other non-metallic interior materials; excluding electrical components (such as air conditioning assembly control switches, wiring harnesses, electrical control panels, navigators, radios, DVD modules, driving instruction clusters, etc.), lamps, steering wheels, airbags (curtains), body damping pad, and the sandwich plates with outer layer of metallic materials and inner layer of non-metallic materials.
3.6 Single material
The uniform monolithic materials consisting of the same materials.
NOTE 1. If different materials are intermittently connected together (for example, sewing, welding, riveting), and such materials are not considered to be composite materials; then each 5.3.2 If the interior material consists of a variety of materials, it shall be split into single material and composite material; separately test them as per the requirements of 5.3.1. 5.4 Smoke density
The test methods for smoke density shall be carried out as per GB/T 8627; the test results shall be determined by the smoke density level.
5.5 Oxygen index
5.5.1 The textile material shall be tested as specified in GB/T 5454.
5.5.2 The rubber material shall be tested as specified in GB/T 10707.
5.5.3 Plastic, fiber reinforced plastic and leather materials shall be tested as specified in GB/T 2406.2.
5.5.4 If the interior material consists of a variety of materials, it shall be split into single material and composite material; separately test them as per the requirements of 5.5.1~5.5.3.
5.5.5 When taking the oxygen index test of the interior, the brief method C specified in Clause 10 of GB/T 2406.2-2009; which shall be indicated in the test report. 5.6 Burning property level
The floor covering in the flooring material shall be tested as specified in GB/T 11785 and GB/T 8626.
5.7 Smoke-generating property level
The floor covering in flooring material shall be tested as specified in GB/T 11785. 5.8 Smoke toxicity level
The floor covering of the flooring material shall be tested as specified GB/T 20285. 6 Transition Period Requirements for Implementation
The product that has been licensed or certified shall be implemented at the 13th month since the date of implementation for this Standard.
