Flexible tile for decoration
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking,
requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging,
transportation, storage and accompanying documents of flexible tiles for
decoration.
This standard applies to flexible tiles for wall decoration of industrial and civil
buildings. It is mainly suitable for the finishing layer of the external thermal
insulation system of the external wall. The application of other occasions may
refer to this standard.
2 Normative references

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Flexible tile for decoration
A lightweight decorative tile with a certain flexibility which uses high
molecular polymers and inorganic non-metallic aggregates as the main raw
materials, through a certain production process.
4 Classification and marking
4.1 Classification
According to the combustion performance, it is divided into ordinary type and
flame-retardant type. According to the artificial aging resistance and stain
resistance, it is divided into level I and level II.
4.2 Marking
4.2.1 Code
Ordinary type, code G: flame-retardant type, code FR.
4.2.2 Marking
Products are marked in the following order: product name, classification,
standard number.
Example: Level I flame-retardant flexible tiles for decoration are marked as:
Test according to the requirements of water method in GB/T 17146-1997; it shall
meet the following requirements:
a) The effective measuring area of the breathable cup is at least 25 cm2;
b) The test temperature is (23 ± 2) °C; the test relative humidity is (50 ± 2)%;
c) The surface of the specimen faces the side with low humidity.
6.14 Combustion performance
Test according to the provisions of 5.1 in GB 8624-1997.
7 Inspection rules
7.1 Exit-factory inspection
Each batch of products shall undergo exit-factory inspection. The inspection
items include surface quality, color difference, dimensional deviation, apparent
density, water absorption, alkali resistance, flexibility.
7.2 Type inspection
Type inspection shall include all items specified in Chapter 5. Type inspection
shall be carried out in the following situations:
a) Under normal production conditions, the type inspection is once a year;
b) When the trial production of new product is subject to type finalization;
c) When changes in product raw materials and large changes in process may
affect product performance;
d) When the product resumes production after six months of suspension;
e) When the exit-factory inspection results are significantly different from the
last type inspection;
f) When the national quality supervision agency puts forward a requirement
for type inspection.
7.3 Group-batching and sampling rules
7.3.1 Group-batching
Take 3000 m2 of products of the same variety, same specification and same
color as one batch; those less than 3000 m2 is considered as a batch.
8.1.1 Each product shall be marked with product mark, production or installation
direction, factory name and address, trademark, batch number, production date
and quality inspection qualification mark.
8.1.2 The product shall be packed in a packing box; its packaging mark shall
comply with the provisions of GB/T 191 and GB/T 6388. The following signs
shall be displayed on the obvious part of the packing box:
a) Enterprise name;
b) Product name;
c) Product specifications:
d) Color;
e) Production batch number;
f) Quantity packed inside;
g) Implemented standards;
h) Quality inspection qualification mark.
8.2 Packaging
8.2.1 The packaging box shall have sufficient strength to ensure that it will not
be damaged during transportation, handling and stacking. Each batch of
products shipped shall have a product certificate and instruction manual.
8.2.2 There shall be a product certificate and packing list in the packing box.
8.2.2.1 The following content shall be included on the certificate:
a) Enterprise name;
b) Production batch number:
c) Inspection results;
d) Inspection department or personnel code;
e) Date of inspection.
8.2.2.2 The packing list shall include the following contents:
a) Enterprise name;
b) Product name and color;

Key points of construction technology of flexible tile for decoration
A.1 Mobilization acceptance
A.1.1 Before construction, materials such as flexible tiles for decoration,
adhesives, jointing agents shall be subject to mobilization acceptance.
A.1.2 After the acceptance, the leveling, bonding and jointing materials shall be
tried out; small-area trial attaching shall be carried out. Large-area construction
can only be carried out after passing the inspection.
A.2 Construction conditions
The construction environment temperature should not be lower than 5 °C, nor
higher than 40 °C. Avoid rain and hot sun exposure during outdoor construction.
A.3 Construction procedures
A.3.1 Base treatment and acceptance
Before construction, it is necessary to check and accept the concealed works
such as the pasted base, embedded parts, connection joints, waterproof layer.
