1 Subject Content and Applicable Scope
This Standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, package, transportation, storage and the like of round pipe, square pipe, rectangular pipe (hereinafter referred to as pipe) of the welded stainless steel pipe for architectural decoration.
This Standard is applicable to architectural decoration, furniture, general mechanical structural components, and other welded stainless steel pipes for decoration. The triangular, variable diameter (embossed) and other related equivalent-thickness of shaped welded stainless steel pipe can also refer to use.

4.3.5 Degree of curvature
The degree of curvature of pipe shall conform to the provision of Table 9. Table 9 Allowable Deviation of Angle of Pipe

4.3.6 Length
4.3.6.1 The general length of pipe shall be 1~8m.
4.3.6.2 The sizing length of pipe shall be 6m; the pipe with length 1~6m agreed by the purchaser and supplier is allowed to deliver; however, the weight shall be no greater than 5% of total weight of each batch.
4.3.6.3 The sizing length and multiple length of pipe shall be within the general length; the allowable deviation of sizing length shall be +20mm; each multiple length shall remain notch allowance of 5~10mm; the allowable deviation of the whole length shall add 10mm.
4.3.7 Pipe shall have no obvious torsion.
4.3.8 End appearance
Both ends of the pipe shall be perpendicular to the axis of the pipe; and shall be flat; the minor deformation and slight defect caused by the cutting method are allowed to exist.
4.4 Surface quality
4.4.1 The outer surface of the pipe shall be clean, free from cracks, folds, delamination, over-pickling traces and iron scale.
4.4.2 Weld defects are allowed to repair; the pipe delivered in heat-treatment state shall repeat the heat-treatment after repairing.
4.4.3 The pipe delivered by the normal roughness of the outer surface shall have 7.4 Batching rules
The pipes shall be performed exit-factory inspection and acceptance as per the batch; each batch consists of the pipes with the same grade, the same size and the same delivery state.
a. When the outer diameter or side length is less than or equals to 30mm, the number of each batch of pipes shall not exceed 500 pieces;
b. When the outer diameter or side length is greater than or equals to 30~160mm, the number of each batch of pipes shall not exceed 300 pieces.
7.5 Sampling quantity
The sampling quantity of each inspection of the pipe shall conform to the provision of Table 14.
7.6 Re-inspection and judgement rules
The re-inspection and judgement rules of the pipe shall conform to the provision of GB 2102.
8 Package, Transportation, Storage
8.1 Package
The pipes shall have the internal package, which shall be clean and dry; paste the certificate on one end of the pipe; the certificate shall include the following contents like manufacturer name, trademark, label and inspector code. The pipe external package mode and materials shall be agreed by both parties, the external package shall be firm; the weight and reinforcement form shall conform to the provision of transportation department.
8.2 Transportation
During the transporting period, the pipes shall be avoided collision, and not be pressed by hard and sharp objects to prevent the damage of the pipes. When transporting by open vehicle, take the rainproof and waterproof measures.
8.3 Storage
The storage warehouse of the pipes shall be clean, dry, not in contact with the corrosive medium, not in direct contact with earth surface or cement surface; the cushion required shall be no less than 100mm.
