1 Scope
This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, classifications, characteristics, relevant product information, normal use, installation and transportation conditions, structure and performance requirements, and tests of proportional valves solenoids (hereinafter referred to as proportional solenoids). This Standard is applicable to various proportional valve solenoids that use hydraulic oil as the working medium. Other proportional valve solenoids can also be implemented as a reference.

3.1.15 Fall time
The time that is required from the occurrence of a negative step signal to when the corresponding control output decays to 5% of the initial value.
3.1.16 Amplitude-frequency wide
Under the condition that the peak-to-peak value of the input sinusoidal control electric signal remains constant, the frequency when the ratio of the control output force change amplitude to the control output force amplitude under specified low frequency (for instance, 0.5Hz) is attenuated to -3dB, which is expressed by f-3dB, in Hertz (Hz). 3.1.17 Phase-frequency wide
The frequency corresponding to when the control output force lags the sinusoidal control input current by 90??, which is expressed by f-90??, in Hertz (Hz). 3.2 Symbols

6.2 Marking
The markings of items a) and b) in 6.1 shall be marked on the nameplate of the proportional solenoid; and the parameters of item f) shall be marked on the nameplate or proportional solenoid; the parameters of the remaining items shall be marked on the nameplate or on the proportional solenoid, or included in the documents published by the manufacturer to obtain complete information from the manufacturer. The mark should be clear, not easy to wear out and easy to identify; and should not be marked on movable parts.
6.3 Instructions for installation, operation and maintenance
The manufacturer shall specify the installation, operation and maintenance conditions of the proportional solenoid during operation and after failure in its documents (such as instruction manual) or samples (if any).
If necessary, the proper and correct method of installation, transportation and operation of the proportional solenoid shall be specified in the transportation, installation and operation manual of the proportional solenoid.
6.4 Packaging
6.4.1 Packaging box
The packaging box mark shall include the following:
a) The name or trademark of the manufacturer;
b) The name and model of the proportional solenoid;
c) Rated force and rated stroke, etc.
6.4.2 Packaging container
The packaging container of the proportional solenoid shall be tight; have moisture- proof and dust-proof capabilities; and meet transportation requirements. There shall be packing list, instruction manual, etc. in the packaging container. The gross weight of each container shall not exceed 50 kg. The outer wall of the packaging container shall have obvious and lasting markings, which include:
a) The name, address or trademark of the manufacturer;
b) The model and name of the product;
c) the quantity of products;
d) External dimension (length ?? width ?? height) and gross weight of the packaging container;
e) The name and address of the receiving organization;
f) It is marked with words or signs such as "fragile items", "fear of rain", "upward", "packing year and month".
Other requirements shall also comply with the provisions of GB/T 13384-2008. 7 Normal Use, Installation and Transportation
Conditions
7.1 Normal use conditions
7.1.1 Ambient air temperature
The ambient air temperature shall not exceed 40??C, and its average temperature within 24h shall not exceed 35??C.
The lower limit of the ambient air temperature shall be -5??C.
NOTE: The proportional solenoid that is used when the ambient air temperature is higher than 40??C or lower than -5??C shall be designed and used according to the relevant product standards (if applicable) or the agreement between the manufacturer and the user. The data given in the manufacturer's sample may replace the above agreement.
7.1.2 Altitude
The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000 m.
NOTE: For proportional solenoid that is used at an altitude higher than 2000 m, the cooling effect of air and the decrease of dielectric strength need to be considered; and it shall be designed and used according to the agreement between the manufacturer and the user. 7.1.3 Atmospheric conditions
7.1.3.1 Humidity
When the maximum temperature is 40??C, the relative humidity of the air shall not exceed 50%; and higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures, such as 90% at 20??C. Special measures shall be taken for the occasional condensation due to temperature changes.
7.1.3.2 Contamination degree
The contamination degree of the proportional solenoid is "Contamination Degree 2". 7.1.4 Shock and vibration
The metal parts of the proportional solenoid shall be free of cracks, bubbles, and peeling off the coating, and the like phenomena.
The surface of the plastic parts of the proportional solenoid shall be smooth, free of pinching, cracking, air bubbles, pitting and severe scratches, and the like phenomena. 8.1.6 Assembly quality
After the proportional solenoid is assembled, the armature iron shall be able to slide flexibly.
8.1.7 Plug
The plug connection size of the proportional solenoid shall be in accordance with the provisions in Figure 1 of JB/T 5244-2001; the protective ground strip shall have an obvious grounding mark; and the protective ground strip and the shell shall be connected reliably.
Other plug types may be determined according to user requirements.
8.2 Performance requirements
8.2.1 Dielectric properties
The insulation of the proportional solenoid shall be able to withstand the AC 1000V (50Hz) power frequency withstand voltage test, which lasts for 5s without breakdown or flashover.
8.2.2 Coil temperature rise
Under the specified test conditions, when the rated current is applied to the excitation coil of the proportional solenoid, the temperature rise of the coil shall not exceed the provisions of Table 5.

9.5 Requirements for verification performance
9.5.1 Basic requirements
9.5.1.1 The proportional solenoid under test shall meet the requirements of the drawings and technical documents approved by the prescribed procedures; and be installed in accordance with normal working conditions and installation conditions. 9.5.1.2 Each test or each completely-sequenced test shall be carried out on a new intact product. During the test, the proportional solenoid is not allowed to replace parts or repair.
9.5.1.3 The test power source that is used in the steady-state performance test is a constant current source.
9.5.1.4 Except for the provisions of this standard, the test methods of proportional solenoid shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of Clause 8 of GB 14048.1-2012.
9.5.2 Dielectric property test
9.5.2.1 The basic conditions for the power frequency withstand voltage test of the proportional solenoid shall be in accordance with the provisions of 8.3.3.4.1 1) in GB 14048.1-2012.
9.5.2.2 The test voltage value shall be in accordance with 8.3.3.4.1 3) b) in GB 14048.1-2012.
9.5.2.3 The test voltage of the power frequency withstand voltage test shall be applied between the protective ground strip and the pins of the plug and socket. 9.5.2.4 The leakage current shall be no greater than 100mA.
9.5.2.5 If the insulation of the proportional solenoid is free of breakdown or flashover during the 5s power frequency withstand voltage test, it shall be considered qualified. 9.5.2.6 In routine test, it is allowed to shorten the test time to 1s.
9.5.3 Coil temperature rise test
9.5.3.1 The temperature rise test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of 8.3.3.3.1 and 8.3.3.3.6 in GB/T 14048.1-2012; and the ambient air temperature shall be within the range of 10??C ~ 40??C. The change in ambient air temperature shall be no more than 10??C during the test.
9.5.3.2 The test current shall be the rated current value.
e) Linearity current;
f) Repeatability precision.
9.5.5 Steady-state stroke-force characteristic test
Install the proportional solenoid on the special test bench. Under the selected control input current, adjust the armature iron stroke to continuously reciprocate between zero and the maximum stroke at a low rate (such as 0.05Hz) that does not cause the dynamic response of the test piece under test. Measure and record the relationship curve between control output force and stroke.
On this curve, the steady-state performance indicators of the following proportional solenoid may be obtained:
a) Rated force;
b) Force hysteresis;
c) Work stroke of proportional solenoid;
d) Full stroke of proportional solenoid.
9.5.6 Transient response test
9.5.6.1 Test method
Install the proportional solenoid on a special test bench; adjust the armature iron at half of the work stroke; give a pulse rectangular wave of a certain frequency through the power function signal generator; measure and record the transient response characteristic curve of the control input signal step change against the control output force.
On this curve, the transient performance indicators of the following proportional solenoid may be obtained:
a) Delay time;
b) Rise time;
c) Transition time;
d) Fall time.
9.5.6.2 Test procedure
The test procedures are as follows:
a) Start the test equipment and preheat the test instrument;
b) Fix the proportional solenoid on the test base; adjust the test position of the proportional solenoid armature iron to the midpoint of the rated work stroke by the axial feeding device; and adjust the zero position and measurement range of the test instrument;
c) Apply a pulsed square wave voltage to the proportional solenoid coil; and measure the transient response characteristics of the proportional solenoid output;
d) Change the amplitude of the input pulse square wave; and measure the transient response characteristic curve family of different output force of proportional solenoid.
9.5.6.3 Expression of test results
The corresponding transient response time may be obtained from the test curve. 9.5.7 Frequency response test
9.5.7.1 Test method
Install the proportional solenoid on a special test bench; adjust the armature iron at half of the work stroke; give a sine signal of a certain frequency by the power function signal generator; measure and record the frequency when the control output force lags -90?? in the phase relative to the control input signal, and amplitude is attenuated to - 3dB.
On this curve, the following frequency characteristic indicators of proportional solenoid may be obtained:
a) Amplitude-frequency wide
b) Phase-frequency wide.
9.5.7.2 Test procedure
The test procedures are as follows:
a) Start the test equipment and preheat the test instrument;
b) Fix the proportional solenoid on the test base; adjust the test position of the proportional solenoid armature iron to the midpoint of the rated work stroke by the axial feeding device; and adjust the zero position and measurement range of the test instrument;
c) Sweep at a certain frequency interval between the starting frequency (0.1Hz may be taken) and the maximum frequency;
