Scope

This document specifies the bench test methods and procedures for electrical transient
conducted emissions and immunity of automotive electrical/electronic components along
shielded high voltage supply lines.
This document is applicable to equipment installed on Categories M, N, O and L electrically
independently driven road vehicles [for example, blade electric vehicles (BEVs), hybrid electric
vehicles (HEVs) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs)] whose power supply is isolated
from the vehicle body, and whose electrical system voltage is greater than 60 V (DC) and less
than 1 500 V (DC). This document is used for reference on electrical transient conducted
emissions and immunity along unshielded high voltage supply lines.
