Scope

This Standard specifies a general method for the gravimetric determination of ignition
residue.
This Standard is applicable to the determination of the burning residue of chemical
reagents that can be sublimated or carbonized and can be removed at 650℃±50℃.
When using this standard to measure ignition residue, the mass of the residue calculated
based on the sampling amount and specification value shall not be less than 1 mg.

Summary This standard specifies the determination of the weight of the residue on ignition method common methods. This standard applies to be able to sublimate or carbonized residue on ignition and the net addition of chemical reagents body was measured at 650C 50C. Residue on ignition when measured by the standards, according to the sample size and specification value the quality of the resulting residues shall not be less than 1mg.
