Aluminum windows and doors
1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test
methods, inspection rules, product markings and accompanying documents,
packaging, transportation and storage of aluminum windows and doors.
This standard is applicable to windows and pedestrian doors for exterior walls
and interior partition walls of manual opening and closing operations, as well as
vertical roof windows.
This standard does not apply to skylights, non-vertical roof windows, roller
shutter doors and swing doors, as well as special windows and doors such as
fire-resistant windows and doors, explosion-proof windows and doors, escape
windows and doors, smoke exhaust windows, anti-ray shielding windows and
doors.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 5823 and GB/T 5824 as well as the
following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Aluminum windows and doors
The general term for windows and doors that use aluminum alloy
construction profiles to make frames and leaf-bar structures.
3.2
Windows and doors with solar heat gain coefficient SHGC no greater than
0.44.
3.8
Thermal insulating and heat-insulating type windows and doors
Windows and doors with a heat transfer coefficient K less than 2.5 W/(m2 · K)
and a solar heat gain coefficient SHGC no greater than 0.44.
3.9
Fire-resistant windows and doors
Under the specified test conditions, closed windows and doors with a fire-
resistance integrity E of not less than 30 min.
3.10
Resistance to repeat opening and closing for windows and doors
The ability of windows and doors to maintain its normal use function after
withstanding the long-term repeated opening and closing operation of the
movable leaf, which is characterized by the number of repeated opening and
closing times during which no deformation, fault, damage occurs that will
affect the normal opening and closing.
3.11
Major load-bearing frame member
Profile members such as horizontal frames, middle vertical frames, leaf
sashes and combined window and door sets in the windows and doors that
bear and transmit the gravity of the windows and doors themselves as well
as the horizontal wind load.
3.12
Major profiles
The basic framework that constitutes the window and door frame and the
leaf rod system, on which the window and door frames and leaf profiles such
as opening leaf or glass, supplemental profiles, accessories are assembled,
as well as the combined frame set profiles of windows and doors, are
assembled.
