Determination of mercury content - Atomic fluorescence spectrometer
method;
- GB/T 8152.12 Methods for chemical analysis of lead concentrates -
Determination of cadmium content - Flame atomic absorption spectrometric
method.
GB/T 8152.6-1987 “Methods for chemical analysis of lead concentrates - The
polarographic method for the determination of bismuth content” and GB/T
8152.8-1987 “Methods for chemical analysis of lead concentrates - The DTPM
spectrophotometric method for the determination of bismuth content” are not
changed.
This Part is Part 2.
This Part is identical to ISO 11441:1995 (E) “Lead sulfide concentrates -
Determination of lead content - Back titration of EDTA after precipitation of lead
sulfate”.
For ease of use, this Part has made the following editorial changes:
a) USE a decimal point “.” to replace the comma “,” used as a decimal point
in international standards;
b) USE “this Part” to replace “this International Standard”;
c) CHANGE the standard name according to Chinese habits;
d) Delete the cover, contents, foreword and introduction in the international
standard.
This Part replaces GB/T 8152.1-1987 “Methods for chemical analysis of lead
concentrates - The Na2 EDTA volumetric method for the determination of lead
content”. Because of the development of international analysis technique, the
previous standard has been outdated. Compared with GB/T 8152.1-1987, there
are the following changes:
a) This Part is changed from the direct titration of the previous national
standard to the back titration, which solves the problem of determination
of high barium lead concentrate.
b) This Part adds normative general elements such as “scope” and
“normative references”, and adds normative technical elements such as
“precision” and “test report”, to make the standard text more complete.
c) Delete annex A of the previous national standard “Determination of the
lead content when the barium content exceeds one-tenth of the lead
content”.
d) ADD annex A “Procedure for the preparation and determination of the
mass of a pre-dried test portion”, annex B “Flow sheet of the evaluation
procedure for the acceptance of analytical values for test samples”, annex
C “Derivation of precision equations”.
Annexes A and B of this Part are normative annexes. Annex C is an informative
annex.
Methods for chemical analysis of lead concentrates -
Determination of lead content - Back titration of EDTA
after precipitation of lead sulfate
1 Scope
This Part specifies a lead sulfate precipitation EDTA titrimetric method for the
determination of lead content in lead sulfide concentrates.
This Part is applicable to all lead sulfide concentrates with lead content in the
range from 10 % (m/m) to 80 % (m/m).
2 Normative references
The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this Part,
constitute provisions of this Part. At the time of publication, the editions
indicated were valid. All standards are subject to revision, and parties to
agreements based on this Part are encouraged to use the most recent editions
of the following standards as much as possible. Members of IEC and ISO
maintain registers of currently valid International Standards.
