The collected samples shall be representative. Generally, the corresponding number of packaging units are randomly selected depending on the size of each batch of cosmetics. During the inspection, totally 10 g or 10 ml shall be taken from samples from more than two packaging units. The sample size can be reduced as appropriate for samples with small packaging volume.
