Scope

This part of GB/T 778 specifies the terms and definitions, technical characteristics, metering characteristics and pressure loss of drinking cold water meters and hot water meters.
Lost requirements. This section applies to the maximum allowable working pressure (MAP) greater than or equal to 1MPa1) (water pipe nominal diameter DN ≥ 500mm)
The table is 0.6MPa), the maximum allowable working temperature (MAT) is 30°C for drinking cold water meter, and the hot water meter can reach 180°C according to the grade.
Various water meters.
This part of GB/T 778 also applies to electrical or electronic principles and based on mechanical principles with electronic devices for metering drinking cold
Water meter for actual volume flow of water and hot water. This section also applies to electronic aids that are usually available as an option.
1) 0.1MPa=1bar
The technical conditions of this part of GB/T 778 apply to water that has been defined as a cumulative meter and continuously measured by any technique.
Volume of water meter.
Note. If national regulations are involved, the national regulations are higher than the provisions of this part of GB/T 778.

Summary This standard specifies the cold potable water and hot water of terms and definitions, technical characteristics, measurement characteristics and pressure loss requirements. This section applies to the maximum allowable working pressure (MAP) greater than or equal 1MPa1 (nominal pipe diameter DN 500 mm of water meter is 0. 6MPa), the maximum allowable operating temperature (MAT) for cold potable water is 30C, hot water at the highest level can reach 180C for various water meter. GB/T 778 This section also applies to the electrical or electronic principle and based on mechanical principles with electronic means for measuring the actual volume of drinking water and hot water flows. This section also applies to commonly as an option of electronic aids. GB/T 778 technical condition of this part apply to be defined as totalizer measurement instruments, using any technique continuous determination of the volume of water flowing through the meter.
