This Part replaces GB/T 7702.6-1997 Standard test method for methylene blue adsorption of granular activated carbon from coal.
Compared with GB/T 7702.6-1997, the main changes of this Part are as follows. a) Specify the requirements of water used in laboratory;
b) Specify the level and specifications of filter paper used in analyzing process; c) Add the eliminating method of moisture in methylene blue reagent;
d) Change the oscillation and adsorption time of test portion to methylene blue solution from 20 min to 30 min;
e) Specify the calibration precision of methylene blue solution;
f) Specify the weighing range of test portion; improve the weighing accuracy; g) Add Chapter 3 ?€?Terms and definitions?€?.
