This standard specifies the performance test method for infrared heaters (hereinafter shortly referred to as “heaters”). This standard applies to the infrared heaters, including various low temperature, medium temperature and high temperature metallic matrix or non-metallic matrix electrical infrared heaters. This standard describes the basic characteristics of infrared heaters AND specifies the methods to test these characteristics, for reference by the user.
