Scope

This standard specifies the performance requirements, test procedures,
markings for hydraulic brake hose assemblies, which have a nominal inner
diameter of 3.2 mm and 4.8 mm, for the hydraulic brake system of road vehicles.
This standard applies to the hoses, which are made of cord reinforcement
layers and synthetic elastomers, AND the hydraulic brake hose assemblies,
which are equipped with metal pipe joints, that use the non-petroleum-based
brake fluids which meet the requirements of GB 12981.
