This Part is part 2 of GB/T 70.
This Part modifies and adopts ISO 7380. 2004 "Hexagon socket button head screws" (English version), major changes are as follows.
- In reference documents, USE our national standards to replace international standards (Chapter 2);
- ISO 7380 does not specify the packaging technical requirements, this Part specified the packaging requirements (see Table 2);
- ISO 7380 does not specify simplified mark, this Part provides simplified mark (see 5.2) according to GB/T 1237.
This Part replaces GB/T 70.2-2000 "Hexagon socket button head screws".
Compared with GB/T 70.2-2000, the major changes of this Part are as follows. - ADD reference standard GB/T 5267.2 "Fasteners - Non-Electrolytically Applied Zinc Flake Coatings" and GB/T 70.5 "Gauging of Hexagon Sockets" (Chapter 2); - DELETE Appendix A.
This Part was proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation.
This Part shall be administered by the National Fastener Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC85).
Responsible drafting organization of this Part. The Machine Productivity Promotion Center.

Hexagon socket button head screws
1 Scope
This Part specifies the hexagon socket button head screws with. thread size is M3~M16; performance grades are 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9; and product grade is A.
NOTE. Special attention shall be paid to the note in Table 2, and to the provisions in Table 3 relating to tensile load.
If other technical requirements are required, it shall select from existing standards (such as GB/T 196, GB/T 3106, GB/T 3098.1, and GB/T 3103.1).
