Foreword
This document was drafted in accordance with the rules provided in GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives
for Standardization - Part 1: Rules for the Structure and Drafting of Standardizing Documents.
This is Part 2 of GB/T 6003 Test Sieves - Technical Requirements and Testing. GB/T 6003 has
issued the following parts:
---Part 1: Test sieves of metal wire cloth;
---Part 2: Test sieves of perforated metal plate;
---Part 3: Test sieves of electroformed sheets.
This document serves as a replacement for GB/T 6003.2-2012 Test Sieves - Technical
Requirements and Testing - Part 2: Test Sieves of Metal Wire Cloth. In comparison with GB/T
6003.2-2012, apart from structural adjustments and editorial modifications, the main technical
changes are as follows:
---The requirements for the materials of the sieve plate and the blind hole area at the edge
of the sieve plate are modified (see 5.1.5; 5.1.4 of Version 2012);
---The accuracy requirements of the testing equipment are modified (see 5.2; 5.2.1 of
Version 2012);
---The basic size grouping range of the test sieve meshes is modified (see Table 3; Table 3
of Version 2012).
This document identically adopts ISO 3310-2:2013 Test Sieves - Technical Requirements and
Testing - Part 2: Test Sieves of Perforated Metal Plate.
This document makes the following minimal editorial modification:
---NOTE and EXAMPLE are added to Chapter 4.

1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements and test methods for test sieves of
perforated metal plate.
This document applies to 1 mm ~ 125 mm round-mesh and 4 mm ~ 125 mm square-mesh test
sieves of perforated metal plate that comply with the mesh size requirements of ISO 565.

4 Marking
The basic size and shape of the meshes of test sieves of perforated metal plate shall be indicated
in millimeters.
NOTE: the marking format of the test sieves of perforated metal plate is usually: sieve frame
size/basic size of perforated plate sieve mesh sieve mesh shape serial No. of the
Standard. Among them, in terms of the shape of the sieve meshes, round meshes are
represented by R, and square meshes are represented by S.
