Scope

This Part specifies the definitions, materials, product classifications,
requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transport and
storage of unplasticized poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) fittings that take polyvinyl
chloride (PVC) resin as main raw material and are molded through injection
(hereinafter referred to as the fittings).
This Part is applicable to the fittings for soil and waste inside buildings. In
consideration of the chemical resistance and heat resistance of the material, it
can also be applicable to industrial drainage pipe fittings.
The fittings specified in this Part are used in conjunction with the fittings
specified in GB/T 5836.1-2006 "Unplasticized poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC-U)
pipes for soil and waste discharge inside buildings".
