Scope

This document describes a method for testing the compression and resilience of fillings
in home textiles.
This document applies to granular and sheet-like fillings made of loose fibers, wadding,
and other materials for home textiles.
This document does not apply to down and feather, sheet latex, polyurethane, or non-
elastic rigid fillings.
NOTE: Non-elastic rigid fillings include herbal materials such as buckwheat hulls and cassia seeds, or
rigid waddings.
