Scope

This chapter of GB/T 4214.1-2000 is applicable except as follows.
1.1 Scope of application

This section applies to separate electric washing machines for household and similar purposes, laundry and dehydration functions combined with centrifugal dewatering machines.
This part refers to the limitations of the test method, see 1.1.1 of GB/T 4214.1-2000.
Note. This section does not apply to the noise test of the drying function.
1.1.2 Noise Type

GB/T 6881.2, GB/T 6881.3 and GB/T 3767 can be used to test the noise emitted by washing machines and centrifugal dewatering machines.
1.1.3 Sound source size

The method specified in GB/T 3767 is applicable to sound sources of any size. When using GB/T 6881.2 and GB/T 6881.3
It should be noted that the maximum size of the tested washing machine or centrifugal dehydrator meets GB/T 6881.2-2002 and GB/T 6881.3-2002.

1.2 Measurement amount
