Scope

This Standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test
methods, inspection rules and so on of the pneumatic industrial process control
valves (also named as “control valve”) used for industrial process control system.
This Standard applies to various pneumatic industrial process control valves which
composed of pneumatic actuator and valve (hereinafter referred to as “control valve”).
The relevant contents in this Standard also apply to the independent pneumatic
actuator and valve components.
This Standard do not apply to control valves on which the State has specific
requirements of working conditions, such as enduring the radioactive working
conditions.
