This document specifies the method ¨C by chemical analysis ¨C for the determination of the fibre content of two-component mixtures of aramid with certain other fibres after removal of non-fibrous matter. This document applies to two-component mixtures of aramid with animal fibres (silk, sheep wool, cashmere, other special animal fibre), cellulose fibres (cotton, hemp, viscose fibre, modal fibre, lyocell fibre, cupro ammonia fibre), polyamide fibres, polyester fibres, polypropylene fibres, polyacrylonitrile fibres or certain modified polyacrylonitrile fibres.
