1 Scope
This Standard, according to the elements of data management links of industrial cloud
service, specifies general requirements for data definition, creation, storage,
maintenance and access for industrial cloud service.
This Standard is applicable to data design, implementation, deployment and use of
industrial cloud service applications.

3 Terms, definitions and abbreviations
3.1 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/Z 18219-2008, GB/T 18391.1-2009, GB/T
28040-2011, GB/T 37700-2019 and GB/T 37724-2019 as well as the followings apply
to this document. For convenience, some terms are repeated below.
3.1.1 industrial cloud service data
the collection of data generated in the process of planning, construction, operation, and
evaluation of industrial cloud services and managed in the industrial cloud platform
3.1.2 data management
the activities of defining, creating, storing, maintaining, and accessing data in one or
more industrial cloud systems
3.1.3 metadata
the data that defines and describes other data

3.1.4 data dictionary
the table that contains a series of data entries

3.1.5 heterogeneous data
the data with different data formats, storage methods, and access control policies
NOTE 1: Heterogeneous data may be distributed across multiple autonomous domains in a
heterogeneous environment.
NOTE 2: Heterogeneous data may differ greatly in data models, operating languages, and data
semantics.
3.2 Abbreviations

4 Overview
Data management of industrial cloud services includes the definition, creation, storage,
maintenance and access of data. In these links, the industrial cloud service data is
managed to ensure the integrity, consistency, security, reliability and ease of use of the
industrial cloud service data.

models.
5.2 Data quality
When industrial cloud service providers provide industrial cloud service data definition
services, the data quality requirements include:
a) Definitions and rules of data quality and accuracy indicators shall be provided,
such as definitions of error range, expectation, variance as well as rules of data
collection frequency, collection path;
b) The complete definition of data attributes, such as data characteristics,
characteristic attributes and characteristic relationships, shall be provided, such
as original records and files, which are retained in the original form, and the entire
activity of data generation can be reproduced according to the original data;
c) A consistent definition of the logical relationship of data in time and space shall
be provided, for example, the sequence of events is recorded in strict accordance
with the date and time of occurrence;
d) The definition of timeliness of data from generation to use shall be provided, such
as timeliness of service response, data interaction, message push;
e) The definition of data compliance in standards, conventions or regulations shall
be provided, for example, data shall comply with relevant term definitions,
security standards, data quality standards and other specifications;
f) A definition of data reliability shall be provided, such as clear data source labelling;
g) Definitions of the precision of data attributes, such as error values, shall be
provided.
5.3 Data permission
When industrial cloud service providers provide industrial cloud service data definition
services, the requirements for data permissions include:
a) User, role and division of labor definitions for data management shall be provided;
b) The operation authority of data shall be provided, such as adding, deleting,
modifying, checking;
c) Definitions between different roles and data manipulation permissions shall be
provided.
6 Creation
6.1 Syntax
When industrial cloud service providers provide industrial cloud service data creation
services, the syntax requirements include:
a) Creation syntax, rules, processes and instructions shall be provided;
b) The creation of heterogeneous data shall be supported;
c) The creation process shall be documented;
d) Data personalization creation function shall be provided;
e) Syntax examples for data creation shall be provided;
f) Graphical creation tools shall be provided, which can import data models and
automate creation;
g) Metadata creation and management tools shall be provided.
