Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements and test methods,
inspection rules, preparation for delivery, user services for DC servo motors.
This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture, inspection, acceptance of DC
servo motors (hereinafter referred to as "motors"), which have a frame outer diameter
not exceeding 320 mm. Motors with a frame outer diameter greater than 320 mm may
refer to this standard for guidance.
