This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard uses the translation method and equivalently adopts ISO 12308:2017 Plain Bearings - Quality Assurance of Sample Types - Definitions, Applications and Testing.

Definitions, Applications and Testing
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the sample types of plain bearings used for delivery between the user and the manufacturer.
In the field of internal combustion engines and other mass production, it is necessary to adopt different sample types in accordance with the purpose of use.
The sample types refer to:
---Testing and inspection samples used for the experimental and trial production stages, including assembly samples, prototype samples and intermediate
samples;
---Samples used to prove that the quality complies with the quality requirements (size, material and performance requirements), including batch samples and standard samples, and if necessary, intermediate samples.
NOTE: see ISO 3534 (all parts) and ISO 9000 for more information.
---Plain bearing samples that can provide specific quality characteristic information related to the technical requirements of plain bearings, including standard samples and characteristic-changing samples.
