1 Scope
This Standard specifies designation representation method, order content, size,
shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules,
packaging, marks and quality certificate of hot rolled steel strip for structural
corrugated steel pipe.
This Standard is applicable to the hot rolled steel strip for structural corrugated
steel pipe that is necessary to have certain bearing requirements for the
production of bridges, culverts, tunnels, underground infrastructure, water
supply and drainage, water storage facilities, that the thickness is not greater
than 16mm (hereinafter referred to as the steel strip).

3 Designation representation method
A steel designation consists of three parts: “Q” that is the initial for Chinese
pinyin “Qu” (yield strength), the specified minimum yield strength value and “BW”
that is the initials for Chinese pinyin “Bo Wen” (corrugated) that represents
usage.
For example: Q235BW
Where,
Q - the initial for Chinese pinyin “Qu” (yield strength of steel);
235 - the specified minimum yield strength value, in megapascals (MPa);
BW - the initials for Chinese pinyin “Bo Wen” (corrugated) that represents usage.
4 Order content
4.1 The contract and order sheet according to this Standard shall contain the
following information:
a) reference to this Standard;
b) product name;
c) designation;
d) size and unevenness accuracy;
e) weight;
f) roll diameter;
g) packaging method;
h) edge state;
i) other special requirements.
4.2 If the order contract does not specify the information such as the edge state,
thickness accuracy, packaging method, it shall be supplied in the form of non-
cutting, normal thickness accuracy and packaging provided by the supplier.
