Scope

This standard specifies the classification and labeling, technical requirements, test
methods, inspection rules and packaging, marking, and transportation and storage of
flue gas desulfurization gypsum.
This standard applies to flue gas desulfurization gypsum that adopts limestone/lime -
gypsum wet method to desulfurize and purify sulfur-containing flue gas, so as to
produce the main component of calcium sulfate dihydrate (CaSO4•2H2O).
