4 Overview
In accordance with three types: infrastructure, platform and application, this Standard
specifies the metering indicators and metering units for different types of cloud service.
Through the infrastructure service type, cloud service customers may configurate and
utilize computing, storage or network resources. The infrastructure service type
includes computing, storage and network service. The computing service type includes
virtual machine and mirror image service. The storage service type includes storage
disk and snapshot service. The network service type includes private virtual network,
public network, virtual firewall and virtual load balancer service.
By virtue of the platform service type, cloud service customers may utilize
programming languages and execution environments supported by cloud service
providers to deploy, manage and operate applications created or acquired by the
customers. The platform service type includes middleware and database service.
Middleware service includes message middleware, cache middleware and application
middleware. The database service type includes database service.
By virtue of the application service type, cloud service customers may utilize
applications provided by cloud service providers. The application service type includes
API monitoring and application software service.
