This Standard specifies the classification and code, order contents, dimension, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of hot rolled steel sheets and strips of alloy structure steel. This Standard is applicable to hot rolled steel sheets and strips of alloy structure steel with a thickness of not more than 25.4 mm, including continuous hot rolled wide strips, sheared steel sheets and slit steel strips with a width of not less than 600 mm, and continuous hot rolled narrow steel strips and shear steel sheets with a width of less than 600 mm.
