This Standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product packaging, marking, transportation, storage and shelf life of acrylonitrilebutadiene rubber (NBR) [namely, nitrile rubber (NBR)]. This Standard is applicable to nitrile rubber, which takes butadiene and acrylonitrile as the monomer, and adopts low-temperature emulsion polymerization in production; this standard is applicable to three types of nitrile rubber, namely, intermediately bound acrylonitrile, intermediately and highly bound acrylonitrile, and highly bound acrylonitrile.
