– Thermogravimetry Method
1 Scope
This Standard specifies using the thermogravimetric analysis method to determine the moisture content in the solid chemical products.
This Standard is applicable to determine the moisture content in the solid chemical products with moisture content range from 0.050% to 28.00%.
This Standard is not applicable to the determination of chemical products that shall be weathered, deliquesced, volatized at the room temperature; or the determination of chemical products with decomposition temperature less than 105°C. For some samples, the moisture content may contain a quantity of volatiles at 105°C below. 2 Normative References
