High strength steel plate for dump truck structure
1 Scope
This standard specifies the contents of ordering, grade presentation method, size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, markings, and quality certificates for high strength steel plates for dump truck structures.
This standard applies to the manufacture of high strength steel plates
(hereinafter referred to as steel plates) for large mine dump trucks with a thickness of 3 mm ~ 80 mm.

GB/T 20066 Steel and iron - Sampling and preparation of samples for the 6.5.2 The surface of the steel plate is allowed to have a thin layer of iron oxide skin, rust, surface roughness, scratches, indentations and other local
imperfections caused by the peeling of the pressed iron oxide skin which do not affect the surface defect inspection, but its depth shall not exceed the half of the thickness tolerance, and it shall guarantee the minimum thickness of the steel plate.
6.5.3 Steel plates are not permitted to be repair welded.
6.5.4 In addition to the provisions for welding repairs, through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser, and as noted in the contract, the surface quality may also follow the provisions of GB/T 14977.
6.6 Ultrasonic testing
In accordance with the requirements of the purchaser, ultrasonic testing shall be carried out for each steel sheet with a thickness of not less than 16 mm, the test method shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 2970 and be qualified in grade III. After mutual consultation, other testing criteria can also be used. The specific testing criteria and qualification levels shall be specified in the contract.
6.7 Special requirements
After negotiations between supplier and the purchaser, it may put forward to other special requirements for the steel plate.
7 Test methods
7.1 The test method for the chemical composition of the steel shall be in accordance with GB/T 223.5, GB/T 223.9, GB/T 223.11, GB/T 223.14, GB/T
223.18, GB/T 223.23, GB/T 223.26 , GB/T 223.40, GB/T 223.62, GB/T 223.63, GB/T 223.69, GB/T 223.72, GB/T4336, GB/T20123, GB/T 20125, or otherwise in accordance with the general method, but in case of arbitration, it shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 223.5, GB/T 223.9, GB/T 223.11, GB/T 223.14, GB/T 223.18, GB/T 223.23, GB/T 223.26, GB/T 223. 40, GB/T 223.62, GB/T 223.63, GB/T 223.69, GB/T 223.72.
7.2 The test items and test methods for steel plates are to comply with the requirements of Table 4.
