1 Scope
This Standard specifies the category, technical requirements, determination methods,
quality inspection and delivery acceptance of coal feedstocks and oil feedstocks for
coal-oil co-processing.
This Standard is applicable to coal feedstocks and oil feedstocks for coal-oil co-
processing.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document.
3.1 Coal-oil Co-processing
Coal-oil co-processing refers to the technology of preparing coal powder and heavy-
oil into coal-oil slurry (mass fraction. 25% ~ 50%) at a certain proportion; triggering
hydrogenation reaction with hydrogen at a certain temperature and pressure; triggering
splitting decomposition of coal and heavy oil, which generates light oil products and
gas.
3.2 Petroleum-based Heavy Oil
Petroleum-based heavy oil refers to heavy oil products that are generated through low-
