Scope

This document describes methods for determining the content of 10 heavy metal
elements (arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), cobalt (Co), chromium (Cr), copper (Cu), nickel
(Ni), lead (Pb), antimony (Sb), barium (Ba), and tin (Sn) in textile dyeing and finishing
auxiliaries using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES).
It also describes a method for determining the content of 13 heavy metal elements
(arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), cobalt (Co), chromium (Cr), copper (Cu), nickel (Ni),
lead (Pb), antimony (Sb), barium (Ba), tin (Sn), mercury (Hg), selenium (Se), and silver
