This standard specifies the method for the determination hydrocarbon impurities, such as of methane, ethane, ethylene, propane, cyclopropane, isobutane, n-butane, propadiene, acetylene, trans-2-butene, 1-butene, isobutene, cis-2-butene, 1,3-butadiene, methylacetylene, which have a volume fraction of not less than 0.0002%, in the propylene for industrial use, by the gas chromatographic method. The volume fraction of propylene can be obtained, by subtracting the total amount of impurities from 100.00%.
